low protein fried rice with vegetbales and wakame seaweed


I am a huge fan of quick no hassle food. Here is a brilliant recipe that takes less than 10min to prepare. Tip – cook rice in advance and split it into dinner and lunch portions.

1 cup Loprofin rice

1 tbsp butter or margarine

1 sachet of vegetable rice seasoning

1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce

1 tsp dry wakame seaweed

Cook low protein rice like pasta untill al dente (about 5min), drain and set aside. In a frying pan melt butter and stir in the rice. Season with vegetable seasoning, soy sauce, mix well and take off heat. In a small bowl pour boiling water over wakame seaweed and wait 1-2 min untill it fully rehydrates. Drain water and add the seaweed into the rice. Mix well and enjoy.

I find both of them in a local Korean store.

Options: you can add any kind of fresh or frozen vegetables to this dish. Add a drop of sesame oil for flavor at the end.
