Radishes

here they are. small red and peppery. \have you tried them? If not please go ahead and do. They can be sliced in salads, nibbled on their own, dipped into a bit of salt and did you know that it is super easy to grow them?

radishes can be planted outdoors as soon as the ground thaws out or in a flower pot on windowsill or balcony. Once it sprouts, remove extra seedlings to free up space so each baby plant is about 1 inch apart from the others – radishes need some room to breathe and grow.

They take only about 2-3 weeks to ripen up, then you can re-seed same patch for more cheerful red crunchiness.
